My Spiritual Journey

I highly recommend you to listen to Ashana - 'Soulmerge' while reading this post:

I grew up as a very sensitive child. I was often being told that I was too sensitive or oversensitive. Now I know that's because I'm even hypersensitive aka HSP. I've been diagnosed with ADHD, even though I have PTSD and I see myself as an Indigo and Orchid Child.

I knew back then and I realize even more so now, that I could - I can sense and see things that others can't, such as the games being played and what's being said in quiet, in between the lines. I'm also sensitive to energies and emotions. Being social can be draining, as an ambi-/introvert often testing as INFP or even INFJ and at some point ENFP due to Myers-Briggs 'MBTI' Personality Test.

Now I know that it's a gift - being able to stay open as a child when you grow up in a world that sometimes forces you to shut down. So did I. For many years I felt as if I was living as half a being, living only half of life, being half of me, half awake. I believe that to be the result of suppressing - and protecting - The Divine Feminine, growing up in an environment very much dictated by The Wounded Masculine.

Art, music and books saved me. I could look at pictures such as beautiful perfume ads, dreaming away to a world full of beauty and a sense of high vibrational magic. I got in touch with the delicate, graceful, romantic vulnerability and femininity of Goddess Love through scents like Cacharel's 'Eden', 'Anaïs Anaïs' and 'Noa'. I knew already back then what blossoms, woods and herbs could help raising my vibration and that something else was possible. That I was made for something bigger, something special. Just like a rose or morning dew.

Even when writing this I get in touch with that sweet, bittersweet nostalgia that is to be found in the innocense of childhood, in sisterhood as in Astrid Lindgren's book 'Most Beloved Sister' and it brings me to hearthealing tears of pure gratitude.

Michael Ende's 'Momo - Or The Grey Gentlemen' (Or The Struggle For Time), Jostein Gaarder's 'Sophies World' and Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist' helped me further to opening up my inner world. I've always been fascinated by the metaphysical such as philosophy, psychology, astrology and the occult, mysticism and what's beyond the veil.
